TASC offers specialized services for individuals who have substance use disorders, HIV, and/or related health issues. TASC staff serve as clinical coaches and advocates to help improve the quality of life of our clients.

Illinois SBIRT is a partnership with the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, the Great Lakes Addiction Technology Transfer Center, the Cook County Bureau of Health Service (CCBHS), and TASC.

CCBHS staff in Cook County hospitals and clinics conduct screening and assessment of patients to determine substance abuse or dependence. TASC staff coordinate referrals to treatment for dependent patients and provide community case management and follow up to link patients to appropriate treatment services.
