Juvenile Court & Probation Services

TASC works with public systems, along with community-based providers and youths' families and guardians, to develop solutions that guide youth toward positive, safe, healthy, and pro-social behavior.

Juvenile Justice Services (JJS)

Offered in Cook County, Northwest Illinois, West Central Illinois, Southwest Illinois, Southeast Illinois, and South Central Illinois

Funded by: Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse

TASC Juvenile Justice Services staff target youth involved in the juvenile justice system who may be abusing drugs or alcohol.

TASC performs an assessment to determine the nature and extent of the youth’s substance use problem, developing an individual care plan for treatment and ancillary service needs. TASC then provides ongoing case management; advocates for the youth and his or her family; and reports progress to the referring system.
